Algoma boys can't take bite out of Peshtigo

The Algoma High School boys’ basketball team dropped a home contest Thursday night to Peshtigo, 70-55. Cade Tackmier netted 28 points with Landon Lemke notching 19 in support for the Bulldogs. Peshtigo focused on shutting down Carter Zimmerman, holding him to only eight points on the night. That opened up opportunities elsewhere on the floor with nine Wolves contributing to the scorecard. It was not enough to overcome Peshtigo’s one-two punch though.

Algoma’s next game is Monday at Reedsville which is a makeup game from earlier in the season.
