Luxemburg-Casco volleyball loses close match to Denmark

Luxemburg-Casco volleyball couldn't quite pull out a victory in a tough match with Denmark on the road. The Spartans lost 3-2 (17-25, 25-17, 25-22, 19-25, 12-15). Bekah Day had 50 assists for Luxemburg-Casco while Kenzie Hanson had 16 kills, 17 digs and 2 blocks. The other leaders for Luxemburg-Casco were Holly Baierl with 13 kills and 2 blocks, Grace Holschuh with 13 kills and Alli Routhieaux with 14 digs.

 

Spartan Head Coach Jeff Frey said after the game, "It was a really good match with two rivals.  Denmark is always great defensively, we just could not find the floor tonight, they made us work for everything.  Hats off to Pat and his team, they outplayed us tonight."

 

Luxemburg-Casco is now 22-12 overall and 5-2 in the North Eastern Conference. They will host Freedom on Thursday night. The match starts at 7 PM.
